A commissioned 2nd birthday card for a young girl who likes dancing. This is made using MCS The Collector's Edition - Kids cd. I made the background by layering up several backgrounds and tiling the main image which had been reduced in size. The silver mirri board oval and the sentiment tag were cut using Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Ovals. I printed the image on the reverse of the printable acetate wrap round cover, glittered parts of it and cut around the edge of the image to let the ballerina "dance" freely against the mirror effect. Blue spotty grograin ribbon and gems complete the design.
Another commissioned 2nd birthday card for the same young girl made using MCS Papercraft Library - Violet cd. This time I combined two backgrounds and printed a lace and heart border across the centre of the card and two heart shapes as sentiment boxes. The main image was decoupaged to give some depth to the card and decoupaged paper flowers added as embellishments. Some gems and glitter were added to finish the design and I used nail polish to coat the shoes to make them shine like patent leather.
The third card for this young girl was made using MCS The Collector's Edition - Kids cd - Vera Lennox design. A background was printed and a toning matt layer was created and printed with the main image on and layered onto holographic silver card. I used Spellbinder dies - Grand Labels Eleven for the matting and layering elements and Scalloped Circles for the sentiment tags. The image was decoupaged and embellished with 3d Crystal Lacquer and glitter. To complete the design I punched some small flowers out of the holographic card and added small pearl gems.
