My first samples for Elegant Inspirations

These samples are all from The Rachelle Anne Miller Collection double disc set and this first one was created by printing a background from the cd onto white cardstock. I then used a toning plain printed background for the base layer, which, along with the image layer and sentiment tag were cut using Spellbinders Grand Labels One dies. The flower was made from another background printed on to white paper and cut using Spellbinders dies Carnation Creations, while the flourishes were made with Spellbinders dies Floral Flourishes. Toning satin ribbon and wooden ladybird embellishments complete this design.
This sample was made using A3 card printed with a background from the cd and cut using Spellbinder dies Grand Scalloped Rectangles to give the basic card shape. A toning background was cut using Spellbinders Grand Labels Twenty Three onto which the twisted decoupage image was layered and tucked under some narrow satin ribbon which was laced around it. The sentiment tag was cut using Spellbinder Scalloped Ovals die. The flowers were Prima paper flowers which I coloured with Distress Inks to tone in. Small red heart gems and a large central gem in the flower complete the embellishment of this design.
This card was assembled by printing a background from the cd onto white cardstock, matting and layering the main image section onto bright yellow glitter card which had been cut using a Spellbinder Grand Scalloped Square die. The printed topper was rounded at the edges using a corner punch and the image decoupaged. The glass cockpit was glazed using 3d Crystal Lacquer and the planet and earth were attached using coiled wire to let them bounce around. A printed sentiment tag and blue gems were added to embellish this design.
The insert of the card above shows a matching bookmark and envelope which were printed from the cd and constructed as per instructions given. I created a pocket from another sheet of printed background card and added a blank insert for a personalised message to be written.
