T In The Park.....

Hello, everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely, crafty Monday and enjoying the very pleasant sunshine we are having here in Ayrshire this afternoon. Still a bit cold in the shade however, but we need to be thankful for small mercies...lol!

The card I want to share with you today is a commission that has been lurking on my books for a few weeks, and as it is needed for early May, I finally faced my demons and set to work on it yesterday. Yes, it is one of those cards - you think about it, worry about it, fret about it and finally realise that it's not going away so you have to face it and just do it! I had no idea how I was going to tackle the brief which went as follows:

18th Birthday card for Daughter who is going to T In The Park open air concert to celebrate and has to show a tent and lots of "carry out" booze...

Now how do you make that feminine and memorable?

Here is what I came up with - I hope you like it, and I would especially love to hear what you all think of this one.

T In The Park

Thank you for popping by and I hope to see you again soon.

Haste ye back!

  12. As a festival goer, I would definitely say you've hit the spot with this card. It's just fantastic and quirky and cool too. I would have been chuffed to bits to receive a card like this when I turned 18 (and still would to be honest!). New follower too, Sammylou xxx
